What do the different parts of my account mean regarding transfers?

Updated over a week ago

There may come a time where you need to transfer a subscription, team or drafts. To ensure a smooth transfer, we'd like to share what we mean when we ask for information.

Please see the image below for clarification on what is:

  1. Typefully User

  2. Account(s)

  3. Team(s)

1. User

This is how you log in to Typefully.

You can only log in with X to Typefully at the moment, so your Typefully User(name) is also your connected X account (see below).

2. Account

This is any connected 𝕏 Account that you can use to create drafts, publish, and schedule.

You can connect multiple accounts to your Typefully User.

Accounts can also be shared inside Teams. This means that other Users that are members of that Team will be able to collaborate on this account.

All accounts, including your personal 𝕏 Account (number 2 in the picture above) can be shared with a Team.

3. Team

Teams have members (you and any other Typefully Users who joined via an invite) that can collaborate on the Accounts shared with that team.

If you're a Team owner, you're the only one who can access billing and create Teams.

Both Team owners and admins can share accounts with the Team.
