𝕏 Long Form Posts Support in Typefully
Updated over a week ago

If you're an 𝕏 Premium user, it's now possible to publish and schedule long-form posts directly from Typefully.

Each post or thread can in fact now be up to 25,000 characters for 𝕏 Premium users.

Unfortunately the 𝕏 API doesn't support formatting for long form posts, so you'll be able to publish and schedule posts without formatting from Typefully, but read on to learn more about how we handle drafts with formatting too.

Publish and schedule long-form posts without formatting

You can publish your long-form posts up to 25,000 characters (also threaded) directly from Typefully.

Simply create a regular 𝕏 draft and write your content.

All features like media support, AI rewrites, and scheduling will work normally.

If you are getting an error when publishing, the most likely reason is that you do not have 𝕏 Premium.

You'll be easily able to spot which accounts have 𝕏 Premium or not as it will be featured next to your username.

Alternatively, if you try to add formatting to a regular 𝕏 draft, you'll be presented with the option to convert it:

When you'll try to publish your Long Form draft with formatting or inline media, you'll see a flow to copy and paste the text over to 𝕏 to publish it manually.
