Auto-retweets allow you to automatically retweet/repost your posts after a delay.
This can help increase engagement or reach followers in different time zones, or simply ensure that people see an announcement you make a few days after posting it.
Here's how you can set an auto-retweet for a post via the Publish modal:
Click on "Edit default settings" in the Auto-Retweet interface to set different defaults for the posts of the current X account.
What happens after I publish?
Auto-retweets activate after you publish an X draft, if they are enabled.
Following your settings, the auto-retweet will retweet your tweet (or first tweet, if your post is a thread) after the defined delays.
This is equivalent to manually retweeting on X and will have your post reach more of your followers!
If you edit your tweet on X, the auto-retweet will fail to publish. If you need to make changes, you will need to create a new post on Typefully in order for the auto-retweet to work.
To keep your profile page clean from retweets, we automatically remove every auto-retweet after 12 hours when an auto-retweet is finished.
