Typefully currently supports Substack Notes only. Publishing long-form Substack newsletter posts is not supported.

You can connect Substack from Settings → Social Sets, or directly while preparing a draft.

1. Open Settings → Social Sets.
2. Select your Social Set.
3. Click Add social account.
4. Choose Substack.
5. Authorize your account on Substack.

You can also enable Substack from a draft. If your Social Set isn't connected yet, Typefully will guide you through the connection process. For more information, see <a href="https://support.typefully.com/en/articles/8717684-social-sets-and-accounts">Social Sets and Accounts</a>.

Enable Substack in the publishing options.

Use the Realistic Preview to see how your Note will appear.

1. Open or create a draft.
2. Enable Substack in the publishing options.
3. Review the Substack version.
4. Use the Realistic Preview to see how your Note will appear.
5. Publish immediately or schedule it.

Can I add videos to Substack Notes?

No. Videos aren't supported for Substack Notes. For supported file types and media requirements, see <a href="https://support.typefully.com/en/articles/8717768-supported-media-formats">Supported Media Formats</a>. ​

Can I publish Substack newsletter posts from Typefully?

No. Typefully supports Substack Notes only.

Can I cross-post the same draft to Substack and other platforms?

Yes. Substack can be enabled alongside other supported platforms. ​ Review the Substack version before publishing, because multi-post drafts are combined into a single Substack Note. For supported publishing destinations, see <a href="https://support.typefully.com/en/articles/8728077-what-and-where-can-i-publish-with-typefully">What and where can I publish with Typefully?</a>.

Can I preview a Substack Note before publishing? Yes. Typefully includes a Realistic Preview for Substack Notes.
